Bambooks is a digital library that offers users access to thousands of books, magazines and comics from any internet connected device. Users can read books in the free section or become a member to have unlimited access to our catalogue
How many books can I read on my plan?
You can read unlimited books on any of our membership plans
How do I sign up for the service?
You can sign up for the service by clicking the “Get Started” button on the mobile app or the “Become a member” button on the homepage of the website
How much does it cost?
We currently have 2 plans: ₦1,500/mth for the monthly plan and ₦15,000/yr for the annual plan. Your membership is automatically renewed so that you can enjoy uninterrupted access.
How do I pay for Bambooks?
You can pay by visiting the membership page
Can I add a book to my library for reading later?
Yes you can. There is an ‘add to library’ option for all books
How do I find books to read?
You can find books by browsing through the explore section or searching for book titles and authors. You also have the option of adding books to your library to read later
How do I bookmark a page?
Once you open a book, tap once on your screen, you should see a bookmark icon right beside the ‘close’ button. Select the bookmark icon once you are on the page you’d like to bookmark, click the ‘add to bookmark’ button that pops up, voila, have successfully bookmarked a page!
Can I make use of the Mobile App without Internet Connection?
You’ll need to be connected to the internet to log into your Bambooks account on the Mobile App, once logged in you can access books you have downloaded to your library for offline reading.
What should I do if I’ve forgotten my password?
Don't worry if you've forgotten your password! Simply click the 'Forgot your password?' link next to the login button and follow the instructions. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you continue to experience problems.
I’m trying to pay for a subscription plan, but I have not received my OTP.
Kindly initiate the payment once more, the OTP is sent from your bank, your bank might be experiencing down time. Please give it another try after some time.
I subscribed to a plan, but I’m still unable to read, what should I do?
If you experience difficulties reading a book after successfully being charged, please try logging out of the Mobile App and logging in again. If you experience this on the Web portal, please try clearing your browser ‘Cache’ and logging into the portal once more.
Is there a limit on how many browsers or devices I can use?
There is currently no existing limit for the number of devices that can be used under one account. You can read on as many devices as you like!
What devices can I use to access the Mobile App?
The Bambooks App works on Android (6.0) and iOS (10) devices and higher versions. Tablets are currently not supported on the current version of the Bambooks Mobile App (1.0)
How do I check my membership status?
You can check your status by visiting the membership page in the account section. You can also sign up or cancel your membership here.
Can I download books?
Yes, you can download books for offline reading on the mobile app, however, this option is not available on the web.
